A Vision For 2012!

I am SO EXCITED about the burning desires God has put on my heart for the year 2012!!! I am SO GRIPPED and fascinated by His love and the things He is revealing to me! Tonight I was asking God to flood me with His presence and His Spirit reminded me of a time earlier in the evening that He had, I pondered this for a second and then responded, "I know Lord I want MORE!" I delight to imagine how this must have made my Heavenly Lover feel! I think this was exactly the response His Spirit was searching for and it moved His heart with delight to see me yearning for more of Him! God's Spirit is revealing truths to the ear who is anxious to hear His voice! Oh to be that one who's ear is EVER turned eagerly towards Him!

The Lord God has given Me the tongue of the learned,

That I should know how to speak A word in season

to him who is weary. He awakens Me morning by

morning, He awakens My ear to hear as the learned.

5 The Lord God has opened My ear; And I was not

rebellious, Nor did I turn away.

Isaiah 50:4-5

I don't know about everybody else, but I know I've discovered ONE THING that is worthy of wholeheartedly pursing in the year 2012, and this is my goal this year! This "One Thing" is to make Jesus Christ the Lord my magnificent obsession! Oh to be controlled, driven, and overwhelmed by a love and a passion for this man Jesus Christ who is worthy of ALL I have to give Him and then SO MUCH MORE! I know that if I am pursuing Him with all of my energy, time, and passion I can not go wrong! Ministry doesn't flow from meditating deeply on how I can serve better, reach out more fully, and grasp bigger opportunities...Ministry flows from sitting at the feet of Jesus! When I am right with Jesus Christ when I am in love with Him my life WILL glorify and exalt Him....PERIOD!

Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad

is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many

who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is

the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.

Matthew 7:13-14

I realize that the lifestlye I am purposing to see be brought about in my life in 2012 is NOT an easy one! I realize that it sounds SO GOOD, but that loving Jesus is sometimes going on when there is no feelings, no joy, and I'm in the valley of weeping! However He is worthy of me pouring my weak love at His feet even in those moments, and the incredible thing is He recieves it! It actually moves His heart, and He takes note of it with joy! Wow! I'm blown away! I could chose the wide gate...the easy way, but I'd rather take the difficult path! I'd rather go for gold!

According to the grace of God which was given to me,

as a wise master builder I have laid the foundation, and

another builds on it. But let each one take heed how

he builds on it. 11 For no other foundation can anyone

lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12 Now if

anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver precious

stones, wood, hay, straw, 13 each ones work will become

clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed

by fire; and the fire will test each ones work, of what sort it is.
14 If anyones work which he has built on it endures, he will

receive reward. 15 If anyones work is burned, he will suffer
loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.

1 Corinthians 3:10-15

Beloved will you not go for gold with me in the year of 2012? Will you not make it your lifelong goal with me to work in such a way that our lives will be silver, gold, and precious stones that would remain on that Day! Ponder this I pray! For eternity is a long time to spend with nothing to show to your King for the life you lived here below! I beseech you consider now what your life looks like rather then on that Day! You will not regret it!
