Looking on proudly as I wait to announce the next song in the program! :)
As most of you know I make a living by teaching piano lessons and training horses....and I LOVE both!!!:-D I've given you a glimpse of the horse training side on my blog and now I'd like to give you a glimpse of the piano teaching side!:) Because both take up a large portion of my time right now I'm sure you'll get more "glimpses" in the future! :) But for now here's a few pictures from my January 19th 2012 piano recital! I'm sorry the pictures aren't the best quality...my dear sis Anna was away and thus the lack of high quality photos!!!:-P Alas...whatever shall I do when she get's married this summer?!?!?!
Eight of my eleven students EXCITEDLY awaiting their turn to perform...nice smile Julia! :)
Playing a Minuet in G duet with Cassie...she made me sound great! :) Love working with my amazing students!!!
One of my younger students....STRETCH those little fingers! :)
I feel SO INCREDIBLY BLESSED to be able to impart the gift of music to these wonderful individuals God has brought into my life! Many times that night I found myself rejoicing in the Lord for the voice he has given me into these precious lives, young and old!! It is SO AMAZING to listen to them progress and grow in their God given talents that I pray they chose to use for His glory all their days! For those who do not know Him personally I pray I may be His bright light shinning radiantly for Him in their lives!!!Visiting afterwards and enjoying soup, cheese and crackers, and amazing treats brought by all participating in the recital!
My AWESOME blind student Cassie who has far exceeded my expectations! Love you "Cas Mac!!! You teach me to appreciate the simple joys of life, and those are the BEST!!" ;)
